Iranian mothers across the country have taken their infants to special mourning ceremony held for Hazrat Ali Asghar (AS), Imam Hussein’s (AS) son and youngest martyr of Karbala. Imam Hussein (AS) together with 72 of his closest companions and family members were martyred in an unjust war against the tyrannical ruler of time, Yazid ibn Muawiyyah, in the Battle of Karbala some 14 centuries ago.
